GENIA FESTIVAL : TEKNOLOGI GRAFIS KOMPUTER

Tadi pagi saya abis Final Test Proclub (Programming Club). Saya jadi keinget klo di slide contoh format presentasinya disuruh nyari tau tentang XNA, OpenGL, dan DirectX. Dan saya browsing² ternyata itu salah tiga teknik grafis komputer.

Dan akhirnya saya menemukan itu di wikipedia yang saya translate pake google :p

COMPUTER GRAPHICS TECHNOLOGY

OpenGL

OpenGL adalah singkatan untuk Open Graphics Library;

ini dikembangkan oleh Silicon Graphics pada tahun 1992;

yang sekarang versi 3.0 dan dirilis pada 11 Agustus 2008

adalah sebuah spesifikasi untuk cross-platform API (Application Programmable Interface);

itu menggambarkan seperangkat fungsi, input dan output mereka, dan hasil perilaku;

itu digunakan untuk 2D atau 3D grafis;

Di antara tujuannya kita dapat mencatat:

sembunyikan rincian hardware interfacing;

menyediakan antarmuka programmable terpadu;

dijalankan hanya pada platform Microsoft (Windows dan Xbox)

adalah kumpulan API yang berbeda, masing-masing berfokus pada tugas tertentu

GENIA FESTIVAL 2009

Di kampus saya skarang lg ada event oke banget namanya GENIA FESTIVAL 2009 ato biasa disingkat jadi G-FEST. GENIA ini juga merupakan singkatan dari GEMA INFORMATIKA.

Event ini kalo kata pendahulu sih katanya event terbesarnya anak IF di IT Telkom Bandung. Genia Festival ini diberi nama festival soalnya terdiri dari berbagai event di dalamnya.

Dan sekarang tahun ini, tepatnya sekarang acaranya sedang berlangsung. Dan ternyata emang oke banget.

Information Technology Festival

IT Festival merupakan acara penutup Genia Festval yang sekaligus

menjadi salah satu acara puncaknya. Konsep dari acara ini

adalah sebuah festival yang terbuka untuk umum, sehingga

akan diramaikan oleh banyak penonton. Acara ini terdiri dari

berbagai kegiatan yang di antaranya adalah Pameran IT,

Baazar IT, Games, bintang tamu, hiburan music, dan hiburan

lainnya. Festival besar ini sangat berpotensi

untuk menarik banyak penonton.

Deskripsi Acara :

Cyber Game merupakan kompetisi berbasis PC game.

Melalui acara ini, akan diperlombakan 3 game, yakni DoTA, PES, CS.

Fee :

DoTA & CS = Rp. 80.000

PES = Rp. 50.000

2.Web Design Contest (WDC)

Deskripsi Acara :

Web Design Contest merupakan perlombaan

membuat website untuk instansi tertentu (misalnya dari pihak sponsor).

Mekanisme perlombaan ini adalah setiap peserta mengirimkan desain

website-nya kepada panitia G-Fest dalam kurun waktu yang telah ditetapkan

untuk kemudian dipilih pemenangnya. Pengumuman pemenang dan penyerahan hadiah

akan dilaksanakan pada final Cyber Game.

Fee : Rp.50.000

3.Animated Commercial Contest (ACC)

Deskripsi Acara :

Animated Commercial Contest merupakan perlombaan membuat

iklan animasi untuk instansi tertentu (misalnya dari pihak sponsor). Mekanisme

perlombaan ini adalah setiap peserta mengirimkan iklan animasinya kepada panitia

G-Fest dalam kurun waktu yang telah ditetapkan untuk kemudian dipilih pemenangnya.

Pengumuman pemenang dan penyerahan hadiah akan dilaksanakan pada final Cyber Game.

Fee : Rp.50.000

4.Documenter Movie Contest (DMC)

Deskripsi Acara :

Documenter Movie Contest merupakan perlombaan membuat film

documenter dengan tema “Play with IT”. Mekanisme perlombaan ini adalah setiap

peserta mengirimkan film dokumenternya kepada panitia G-Fest dalam kurun waktu

yang telah ditetapkan untuk kemudian dipilih pemenangnya. Pengumuman pemenang

dan penyerahan hadiah akan dilaksanakan pada final Cyber Game.

ini berlangsung di GSG IT Telkom dengan sasaran mahasiswa dan umum.

Acara seminar berlangsung pada tanggal 20 November 2009 yang dimulai

pada pukul 08.30 – 11.30.

Sedangkan untuk workshop, yang berjudul “Pembuatan game menggunakan XNA”,

berlangsung pada tanggal 22 November 2009,pada pukul 15.00 – 17.00

Laboratorium Dasar Komputer di IT Telkom.
